RUBESCENT GARDENS

THE CHATEAUBRIAND’S ESTATE
[En] Chateaubriand had found his haven in the Vallée-aux-Loups. In the same way as its creator, often nicknamed "the grandfather of romanticism", the edition goes around the estate to express all sensitivity of the many romantic landscapes. Like a graphic stroll, the printed object invites us to understand the magic of the place in an abstract language, removed from that of greenery, through shades of red and yellow superimposed by risography.
[Fr] Chateaubriand avait trouvé, dans la Vallée-aux-Loups, son havre. Dans une démarche à l’image de son créateur, souvent surnommé "le grand-père du romantisme", l’édition fait le tour du domaine pour exprimer toute la sensibilité des multiples paysages romantiques. Telle une ballade graphique, l’objet imprimé invite à comprendre la magie du lieu dans un langage abstrait et éloigné de celui de la verdure, à travers les nuances de rouges et de jaunes superposés en risographie.
THE BOISE PARK
[En] Crossing this wood, between chestnut trees and oaks, offers many captivating points of observation of flora and fauna, in an almost enchanting atmosphere.
[Fr] La traversée de ce bois, entre les châtaigniers et les chênes, offre de nombreux points d'observation captivants de la faune et de la flore, dans une atmosphère presque enchanteresque.
THE GREEN ISLAND
[En] This small, wild and intimate garden is endowed with overflowing vegetation which makes it a veritable mosaic of plant environments, organized in total harmony between the species and the place in which they reside.
[Fr] Ce petit jardin sauvage et intimiste est pourvu d'une végétation débordante qui en fait une véritable mosaïque d'ambiances végétales, organisées dans une harmonie totale entre les espèces et le lieu dans lequel elles résident.
THE ARBORETUM
[En] This picturesque site brings together an abundance and diversity of 500 species. At the same time considered as an eminent scientific collection and a living painting, its uniqueness lies in this ambivalence between pragmatism and fairyland.
[Fr] Ce site pittoresque rassemble un foisonnement et une diversité de 500 espèces. A la fois considéré comme une éminente collection scientifique et un tableau vivant, son caractère unique réside dans cette ambivalence entre pragmatisme et féerie.
THE CHATEAUBRIAND’S PARK
[En] The Chateaubriand house, witness to an era and to the life of man, the informed botanist and the traveling writer, form a unit where time creates a bridge between past and present.
[Fr] La maison de Chateaubriand, témoin d'une époque et de la vie de l'homme, du botaniste averti et de l'écrivain voyageur, forment une unité où le temps crée une passerelle entre passé et présent.
